The Steinway Society Docent Program brings music appreciation classes into elementary schools throughout the Coachella Valley.
Targeting kindergarten through grade five, children are introduced to a wide spectrum of music history, styles and instruments through a comprehensive program which can be taught by non-musicians. The Mr. McSymphony™ classes consist of five audio/visual presentations: The Life of a Symphony Orchestra, Musicians and Their Instruments, It's All About Classical Music, It's All About Jazz, and It's All About Opera.  |
